Can media planning also be sustainable?

The AOK (Germany’s biggest public health insurance provider) has said it will stop advertising in the country’s tabloid newspaper BILD. Over 100 brands are joining the #stophateforprofit initiative and pulling their ads from the social media platform Facebook.

The discussion about the sustainable and socially responsible behaviour of media has never been as vociferous as it is today. But in our function as their consultants and partners, the question that primarily concerns us is: “How can or should companies and brands behave in this situation?”

For reasons of social responsibility.

From an economic perspective.

Or to guarantee the acceptance of your brands in the future.

But does sustainable media even work and if so, what could it look like? We would like you to join us in discussing the answers to these questions.

What specific requirements do you have of us as a media agency and the media you want to use for your communication in the future? We will also be presenting recent survey results that show how consumers and marketing decision-makers are assessing the current situation.
